El Conecte began by challenging one of the traditional assumptions of the coffee trade: that value-added processing must happen far from where coffee is grown.
Our original roasted-at-origin model works to maintain more value, knowledge and economic activity in Guatemala by roasting closer to producing communities.
Today, roasted Guatemalan coffee remains available for commercial opportunities based on volume, profile and project requirements.
Due to international freight economics, larger commercial orders are generally developed around ocean-freight volumes rather than small recurring air shipments.
